    We are looking to recruit an experienced ISO 9001, 27001 and 22301 Management Systems Auditor into our UKAS approved certification body. We are a global business providing audit and certification services across both the UK and overseas through our network of partners.

    The role will plan and conduct professional management system audits at a wide variety of client premises, as well as undertake witness assessments, shadowing and assurance reviews of work undertaken by our overseas partners. It will be predominantly UK based but travel overseas may be required from time to time.

    The role will require a significant amount of travel across the UK and you must be able to be away from home on a regular basis.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Experience of auditing “third party certification body audits” management systems, ideally a combination of 9001, 27001 and 22301.
    • Excellent report writing skills, analytical and presentation skills
    • Highly self-motivated person working with minimal direction displaying a good level of credibility and responsibility
    • Lead auditor qualified to IRCA or equivalent
    • Experience or understanding of security methodologies and industry standards (e.g. ISO27001, (CIS) Critical Security Controls and PCI-DSS standards)
    • A broad understanding of technology security best practice
    • Strong understanding of information security principles, including current information security issues and trends
    • Clean driving licence

    Desirable Skills and Experience

    • Proven track record in an Information Security or IT Audit role
    • Experience of working in a security team
    • Experience with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
    • Experience in GDPR
    • ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Professional (CCP) scheme – either SIRA, IA Auditor or IA Architect roles at any level
    • Full member of Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP)

    Main Duties

    • Contact clients to arrange audits and liaise with the customer services team to maximise diary availability and meet chargeable targets
    • Reviewing audit reports and compliance checks for audit activity across the UK and internationally
    • Responsible for planning and undertaking audit activities in accordance with standard operating procedures:
    • Write timely and accurate reports and under-take client follow-up
    • Provide certification recommendation
    • Delivery of assessment and certification services to meet customer requirements and accreditation standards
    • Ensure that client Non Conformities assigned to follow-up are answered in a timely manner, and review and analyse client answers
    • Provide, in a timely manner, answers to any requests arising during the technical review of files
    • Provide to the customer services team planned unavailability and constraints
    • Assist in the development of new business through providing sales leads to the sales team
    • Conduct file and contract reviews for UK and overseas clients, ensuring our overseas partners follow operational delivery process.
    • Witnessing and shadowing as necessary to support the management of the ACM competency framework
    • Identify business development opportunities

    The successful candidate will be Lead Auditor qualified with proven experience of auditing third party management systems, ideally across at least two of the following standards 9001, 27001 and 22301.   • Account Co-ordinator

    Account Co-ordinator

    Location: Leicester office

    Salary: £17,000 – £ 21,000 per year based on experience plus other benefits.

    We are looking to recruit an Account Co-ordinator to support the ACM business. ACM is a certification body and is part of the EMB Group. The ideal candidate will support the team in selling the ACM certification product portfolio to new clients as well as existing clients. The role will involve managing the customer journey for new and existing clients, promoting and selling all of the ACM and EMB Group products. The ideal candidate will also be required to maintain and update the CRM database in a timely and accurate manner. You will need to develop relationships with clients/consultants and auditors across the business and externally in order to manage the end to end process.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a customer service role. They will also have excellent administration skills with an eye for detail as the role requires accurate data management.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Flexibility with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise and shift priorities in response to immediate change
    • A good understanding of the certification and assessment market place (can be gained through working with different accreditations)
    • Good communication skills appropriate to liaising with clients, consultants, auditors and other stakeholders in a professional manner
    • Strong relationship management skills coupled with competent interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Self-starter but able to work flexibly with a team
    • Good levels of influencing, persuading, negotiation, facilitation skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately both verbally and in writing to Senior Managers

    Main Duties

    • First point of contact for clients
    • Managing client enquiries through phone calls and email
    • Sending out application forms
    • Providing calculations for formal and informal quote using the relevant ISO calculators within the required guidelines. Manage the customer journey from the beginning as a new lead stage throughout the certification journey and maintaining the certification cycle. Recording of new leads and targets on the CRM and updating information to support future follow ups
    • Raising and sending of Proforma invoices and invoices to clients
    • Chasing outstanding invoices and ensuring payment is received prior to the audit taking place
    • Allocating auditors, raising the work order and confirming audit date and time with the client on receipt of auditor’s acceptance of the job
    • Booking all stages of the audits with the client and the auditor
    • Regular information update on CRM with any communication from creating the new account and through the client journey
    • Producing certificates for new and existing clients
    • Controlling client account and certification cycle including suspension and withdrawal when required
    • Collating and producing relevant paper work and reports
    • Adding details on external portals like SSIP and any other required input relevant to the certifications

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Sales targets for new and existing businesses (upselling)
    • All service standards adhered to as detailed in the relevant processes and procedures
    • All audits undertaken as scheduled
    • Accurate maintenance of CRM and adherence to all company processes and procedures

  • Certification Technical Manager

    Certification Technical Manager:

    Main purpose of the job:

    • To maintain, manage and oversee UK and international compliance of our ISO and other certification schemes ensuring they are provided in line with the requirements of UKAS, IAF, IRCA and the SIA – in particular but not limited to ISO 17021 and 17065 and appropriate MD documentation.
    • Management of the competency, technical, compliance and decision making processes for our core ISO standards, in particular; 9001, 14001, 18001, 27001, 45001, 50001.
    • Management of our overseas agency partner contracts in line with our business plan requirements.
    • As part of the management team contribute to business growth, planning and strategy development.

    Main responsibilities:

    Partnership/Stakeholder

    • Liaise with United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS);
    • Manage and attend Impartiality Committee and Management Review meetings;
    • Review competitor services and process and make service delivery recommendations to the Director;
    • Attend industry network meetings representing the company.
    • Make presentations & deliver training to new and existing clients as appropriate to secure/retain business;
    • Delivery of an effective and timely Contract and File review process in a timely manner for all Agencies and in line with P&L expectations.
    • Effective Communication with auditors and agency partners on system requirement changes, implementing change, monitoring risk and developing new agency partners.

    Effective Quality management system

    • Monitor the compliance of the Quality Management System (UK & International) in-line with requirements;
    • Develop and manage the internal audit, witnessing, shadowing programme;
    • Maintenance of Accreditations to 17021, 17065, IRCA training and SIA;
    • Develop new and review existing policies relating to the operation of the Certification Body;
    • Annually review the Quality Manual, field manuals.
    • Ensure there are sufficient resources to support the certification decision making processes in line with

    Management Responsibility

    • Ensure competency frameworks are developed and implemented in line with stakeholder requirements.
    • Manage the performance of the Technical Team.
    • Advise the Director and others as appropriate on the process and decisions for granting, maintaining, renewing, extending, reducing, suspending or withdrawing certification.
    • Agency performance management and risk assessment against the requirements of the management system.
    • Provide competency and other Auditor performance data to the Assessment Services Manager to ensure client service delivery levels are maintained.
    • Under-take external client audits and overseas witnessing as appropriate
    • Manage publicly accessible information, ensuring relevance and timeliness.
    • Manage notice of change to the Certification Body, agency partners and Clients via appropriate communication methods.
    • Maintain the competency framework and monitor compliance.
    • Work with the Assessment Services Manager to identify individual training and development needs of the auditors.
    • Recruit and manage Technical Experts when they are required.
    • Monitor the stakeholder requirements for branding and website compliance for the certification body, and
    • Review of audit reports.

    Planning & Performance Monitoring

    • Monitor and report performance of the management system against objectives
    • Scheme performance including operational volumes, non-conformity issues
    • Risk rate, monitor, report and manage Agency partner performance.
    • Recommend, develop technical plans and submit applications for new certification services when appropriate.
    • Liaise with the management team to develop engagement and retention strategies
    • Identify opportunities for growth (scope extensions, standards, client groups) and help prepare and implement plans to enable this to happen
    • Ensure appropriate staff are kept up to date on certification service developments.

    Key performance indicators:

    • UKAS, IRCA and SIA accreditation maintained
    • File Review, Contract Review, competency reviews and work order service delivery timeframes are met in accordance with SLA’s (3 days for China)
    • Agency network annual revenue targets
    • Direct and indirect costs managed in line with the business plan
    • Undertake a minimum of 5 audits as the Lead Auditor over a 12 month period in order to maintain competency levels (or 1 per standard)
    • Witnessing schedules for UK auditors, agency partners and UKAS are delivery annually in line with plans

    Skills and experience:

    • Significant experience of certification body UKAS requirements and ISO 17021 & 17065 gained as either a lead auditor or in a management role, in order to meet the competency framework.
    • An in depth understanding of the requirements of a certifying body and of the management systems and processed required to deliver a certification service.
    • Lead Auditor qualified for 9001, 14001, 18001, 27001, 45001, 50001 (minimum 3)
    • Experience of managing individuals and teams as well as overseas partners and possess excellent communication skills.
