JULY 27, 2021 – EMB-Group has agreed a deal to sell ACM Certification to Amtivo Group, which will see it’s UK client base merge with those from the UK’s fastest-growing certification body, British Assessment Bureau (BAB).
Commenting on the deal, EMB Group CEO, Stephen Smith, said “I am delighted that we have found such a complementary strategic fit in Amtivo for ACM Certification. With its ability to invest, I am sure these businesses will continue to grow rapidly under Amtivo’s ownership”.
About Amtivo
Amtivo Group is formed of globally-recognised brands that operate in 27 countries, delivering a range of services that help to build high performing, sustainable organisations that deliver for their customers, employees, investors and the societies in which they operate.
The largest of these brands, British Assessment Bureau (BAB), has been offering a range of certification services for more than 20 years and as part of the Amtivo group it has seen significant investment in technology, which contributed to the company’s significant growth over the past three years.
What’s next for ACM Certification Clients?
Over the next few months the ACM Certification team will be working with the BAB team to integrate the UK elements of the two businesses and combining them to offer our clients all the benefits of holding their certification with a much larger organisation.
As well as investing in technology, BAB focusses its efforts on ensuring its staff are trained to deliver the best possible client experience, which is why it has been able to retain a Feefo rating (which captures client satisfaction scores) of more than 4.5 out of 5 stars for more than 3 years. In doing so they earned a much-coveted Platinum Trusted Partner Award. You can read the reviews here.
All clients of ACM Certification (both UK and worldwide) will be contacted and provided with regular updates on what the change of ownership means for them and their certifications. In the meantime, it’s very much business as usual and ACM Certification clients will continue working with the existing team.
